World Bank Group member International Finance Corporation (IFC) is considering an equity investment of up to $30 million in the latest climate-focused private equity vehicle of Global Environment Fund (GEF) Capital Partners, according to a disclosure.
The fund, South Asia Growth Fund (SAGF) III, targets companies that promote climate action and environmental sustainability in India and opportunistically in Southeast Asia. GEF is looking at raising $300-400 million for the PE vehicle.
