Jammu and Kashmir’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti on January 07 paid tribute to her late father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on his death anniversary. Speaking to the media, she slammed Bharatiya Janata Party-led Central Government for the constant raids by the ED, NIA, or SIA in Kashmir. She accused BJP of turning common people into militants in Kashmir. “You (central government) talk to militants in the Northeast but here in Jammu and Kashmir, you have turned common people into militants. ED raids, NIA raids, SIA raids, people are being arrested and put in jail. This is how you treat your own people,” said Mehbooba Mufti.
