No More Internal Wars, We Have Lost Territories, NURTW

The South-West Zone of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) says no more internal wars.

We have lost territories and there would be no more internal wars, asserts an elder of the union in the zone, Chief Yemi Ogunfiade while speaking to NAN.

Instead, he said the NURTW was ready to unite and reconcile all aggrieved member states who pulled out of the union.

The move to reconcile member states is necessary. The union lost five states out of six states in the South West to parks management Committees.

”This has made the union to lose recognition in the zone I am representing.

‘’The vote of no confidence passed on the National President of the union, Tajudeen Baruwa at the southwest zonal headquarter of the of union in Osogbo by the elders and past leaders stands unchanged.

‘’The union decided that Tajudeen Agbede should represent the zone and complete the four years, that has been allocated to the southwest,’’ he the agency’s correspondent.

Agbede, he informed further had been chosen by the union to represent southwest at the forthcoming convention in August.

To that extent, he is appealing to the other five zones throughout the nation to rally round the union so that they could achieve together….CONTINUE READING
