National Water Co. (NWC) has an investment portfolio for its infrastructure amounting to about SAR 103 billion, allocated to implement more than 1,294 projects, said CEO Nemer El-Shebel.
These projects include expanding water and sewage networks, in addition to the construction of water purification plants and wastewater treatment plants, he added.
The CEO also called on all interested local and international companies to seize safe investment opportunities in the water sector by implementing the water and environmental treatment projects that the company offers on its website.
He highlighted the implementation of the company’s privatization programs, starting with long-term management, operation and maintenance contracts, as well as involving the private sector in building treatment plants.
