The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 16th installment will be disbursed by the central government to recipients by the end of the month, according to the PM Kisan website.
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a government initiative that Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced. This scheme’s primary goal is to give impoverished farmers a source of income and a safe environment. With this policy, farmers receive an annual aid of Rs 6000, farmers receive three installments of Rs 2000 each during the year. The amount will be directly credited to the farmer’s bank account.
Who is eligible to be a PM Kisan beneficiary
The program is only available to farmers who really own cultivable land. However, taxpayers are not eligible under the scheme.
What is the PM Kisan 16th installment date 2024
The financial amount will be disbursed under the PM Kisan 16th will be on February 28, 2024. On this date, the cash will be credited to the eligible beneficiary’s account.
According to the PM kisan website, “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP Based eKYC is available on PMKISAN Portal or nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC.”

To ensure the benefit of the PM Kisan scheme reaches to the intended beneficiaries in their Aadhaar seeded bank accounts without involvement of any middlemen.
Modes of the eKYC
There are following three modes of eKYC available to the farmers of the PMKISAN scheme:
(i) OTP Based e-KYC (available on PM-KISAN Portal and Mobile App)
(ii) Biometric based e-KYC (available at Common Service Centres (CSCs) and State Seva Kendra (SSKs))
(iii) Face authentication-based e-KYC (available on PM KISAN Mobile app which is used by millions of farmers).
How to check PM Kisan 16th installment status 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official scheme website, pmkisan.Gov.In
Step 2: Click on the status link shown on your screen
Step 3: You need to now choose the option between the two choices on the screen, whether you want to check through your number or registration ID
Step 4: enter the code that appears on the screen with the relevant and correct facts this is asked.
Step 5: Select the Get Data tab.
On November 15, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed the fifteenth payment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) plan, which is valued at over Rs 18,000 crore, to over 8 crore farmers.
