The National Labor Observatory (NLO) reported an increase in the number of private sector employees to 10.98 million in December 2023.
As many as 2.32 million Saudi nationals were employed with the private sector in December 2023. This includes 1.37 million males and 945,690 females. Foreign residents in the sector totaled 8.66 million, NLO said on its official X account.
December 2023 saw 44,770 nationals join the local private sector, as shown below:
