‎Saudi Arabia, Japan ink 26 cooperation agreements: Al-Falih

Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih said Saudi Arabia and Japan signed 26 cooperation agreements, noting that Japan is the third largest trading partner of the Kingdom.

During the Saudi-Japanese roundtable meeting held today, July 16, in Jeddah, Al-Falih said these memorandums reflected the confluence of investment opportunities between the two countries, especially in clean energy, entertainment and agriculture, which truly reflect the new phase of joint work.

“We will continue to jointly invest and develop several sectors, including hydrocarbons. In addition, we will strengthen our partnership with Japan in the field of clean energy,” the minister said, expecting Saudi Arabia to be the main supplier of clean energy for Japan.

The Saudi-Japanese roundtable meeting, organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, was attended by Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, and a number of government officials and the private sector from both countries.
