Saudi Cable Co.’s shareholders voted against absolving board members of liability for the fiscal year (FY) ended Dec. 31, 2023, during an ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on Jan. 11.
The shareholders also refused to approve the auditor’s report for the year, according to a statement on Tadawul.
Meanwhile, they approved the board’s recommendation to appoint AlKharashi & Co. Certified Accountants and Auditors as the company’s auditor to examine, review, and audit the financial statements for the second, third, and fourth quarters of 2023 and the full year, in addition to Q1 2024 for SAR 790,000, the statement added.
