Tech enthusiasts gathered in droves at the Queens Park Event Center in Lagos for the just concluded Builders Summit, an event organised by Founders Connect, to bolster Nigeria’s burgeoning tech ecosystem.
The summit featured heavyweights like Sim Shagaya, the serial entrepreneur and one of Africa’s tech champions; Adia Sowho, the Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Nigeria; Iyin Aboyeji, the Founding Partner, Future Africa, among others.

Shagaya also discussed founding Miva Open University, which offers a range of affordable and flexible academic programs worldwide. He emphasised the importance of resilience, the willingness to learn from failure, and the need to seriously consider customer feedback.
