According to the reports of local media, the man was moving an old bag of potting soil from his porch when he was stung by a swarm of bees coming from inside the bag. The family members of the victim attempted CPR and took him to a hospital, where he was declared dead. The incident occurred near the Virginia state line, about 160 miles southeast of Lexington. The official cause of the death has not been announced as the investigation is underway and the autopsy results are pending.
