Black Friday streaming deals are here already, marking the very best time of year to save some serious cash on a range of streaming services. Hulu, Disney Plus, Paramount Plus, Peacock, Sling, and more are all featured.
Deals vary between a big discount on the annual price or sometimes an extremely low price on monthly fees, where you’re still free to cancel at any time. So, if you want to commit long-term to a service you’ve been dipping in and out of in recent months, this could be a great time to strike. Or if you’ve been meaning to try something new or just want to rinse a service for a few boxsets on the cheap, then bolt; this is the time to do it as they’ll be amongst the best Black Friday deals of the whole event.
With so many streaming services to choose from, it doesn’t take long before you total bills rivaling a full-on cable service, sometimes leaving that cord-cutting dream in tatters. But Black Friday streaming deals can help you regain control and put some cash back in your wallet. Hulu with Ads (Monthly Plan)
Hulu offers thousands of shows and movies, including popular network titles and exclusive originals, and their 2023 Black Friday deal beats discounts offered in previous years. Now through November 28, new and returning subscribers can get their first 12 months for just $0.99 a month. That comes out to one year for $12, which is a total savings of $84.
Hulu with Disney Plus with Ads (Monthly Plan)
A brand new promo takes the already discounted $10 bundle with both Hulu and Disney Plus and drops the price to a super cheap $3 a month for the ad-supported tiers for the next 12 months. Simply hit the green banner at the top of the page once you click through, then on the next page, make sure to add Disney via the option at the bottom of the screen.
Disney Plus Ad-Supported (Monthly Plan)
Disney Plus is an on-demand streaming service where subscribers will can enjoy movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and 20th Century Fox. This plan features ads and does not support downloads. This is the cheapest tier, although the Hulu bundles are only a few extra dollars a month.
Disney Plus Ad-Free (Monthly Plan)
Disney Plus offers on-demand access to tons of Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars content, including new original shows. This Premium plan offers ad-free playback and includes download and Dolby Atmos support.
Peacock Premium (Monthly Plan)
Use promo code BIGDEAL to lower the monthly fee to $1.99 a month for the next 12 months – you’re still free to cancel at any time. Peacock is a streaming service featuring NBCUniversal TV shows, movies, original series, live sports, and news programs.
Peacock Premium (Annual Plan)
The annual version of the Peacock Black Friday deal is only $20 when you use the promo code: YEARLONG. Compared to using the other coupon option on the monthly deal, you’re only saving an additional $4 here by going annually.

Peacock promo code, BIGDEAL, brings the cost of the Plus tier down nicely. This upgrade over the cheaper option gets rid of most ads, allows you to download select titles, and also comes with your local NBC channel.
Peacock Premium Plus (Annual Plan)
The annual plan of Peacock Premium Plus is now $40 less for Black Friday when you use the promo code: YEARLONG. As with the monthly tier of Plus, this gets rid of most ads, allows for select downloads, and comes with your local NBC offering.
Paramount Plus Essential (Monthly Plan)
This Black Friday offer provides a significantly lower fee for three months, so if you’ve been thinking of bagging the service for a few box sets, this is a great opportunity. The service features tons of on-demand content from Paramount, CBS, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, and MTV. And you get NFL and Champions League soccer live streaming.
Paramount Plus Essential (Annual Plan)
The annual plan offers a modest $12 saving over going monthly. This is the type of deal we’d wait on, as Black Friday might have a better incentive for signing up for such a long stretch. If not this tier, then the Showtime one might get a chunkier discount.

Showtime is no longer available on its own, but you can bundle it with Paramount Plus for the lowest price of the year right now, with the monthly bundle price reduced to a mere $4 for your first three months. In addition to the Showtime content, this upgrade is also the only way to get rid of ads. Given the extra box sets you get here, this is solid value.
Paramount Plus with Showtime bundle (Annual Plan)
The combined powers of Paramount Plus (ad-free with this bundle) and Showtime undeniably have plenty of box sets to enjoy, but if a year of the service seems like overkill, even with this annual discount, You might be better off opting for the monthly plan as the first three months are much cheaper right now with the Black Friday offer.
Apple TV Plus (Monthly Plan)
Apple TV Plus has a small but growing catalog of exclusive hit titles, including, Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, Foundation, and more along with the option to buy more movies and shows. A recent price hike makes it one to wait for this close to Black Friday, though. If you do sign up, you’ll get a 7-day free trial to start with before paying.
Sling TV Subscription
Sling is one of the most affordable live TV streaming services around. New members can now receive their first month of Sling Blue for a discounted rate of just $20. As it’s a one-month rolling deal, you’re free to cancel at any time. Sling Orange or a double combo are also available for 50% off for your first month. That deal is fairly common, but the improved promo running today also gets you a free Amazon Fire TV Stick streaming device.
Hulu + Live TV
Hulu + Live TV includes over 75 channels, along with Hulu’s on-demand library and access to Disney Plus and ESPN+. Adding live TV drives up the price significantly, but it’s a rolling one-month contract that you’re free to cancel at any time. As live TV cord-cutting cable replacement services go, though, this is one of the best.
Fubo Pro Plan
Well, this is a rare deal and the perfect time to check out the Fubo streaming service – an excellent option for cord-cutting streamers wanting a live TV fix. You can save $20 on your first two months across the Pro, Elite, and Premier bundles today. Better yet, there’s a 7-day free trial before you even start paying.
ESPN+ (Monthly Plan)
ESPN+ is a sports subscription service that includes live sports, exclusive video content, and written analysis from ESPN. You can pay monthly or go for an annual deal for $109.99, which saves you about $22. It’s far better value to consider their triple bundle with Hulu and Disney+, though, as the combined discounts are huge.
Max with ads (Monthly Plan)
Formerly HBO Max, now just Max, this streaming service is the US home of premium content from HBO and Warner Bros. Since the rebranding, it’s now also the home of Discovery content for reality, food, true crime, and more. This massively reduced rate will last for six months, making it a great time to join. Sadly, there’s no deal on the no-ads tier. This offer expires on November 27.
When do Black Friday streaming deals start?
Black Friday takes place on November 24, the day after Thanksgiving, but we expect the best streaming offers to arrive before then. Mostly, they’ll be live by what we call ‘Black Friday week,’ which starts on Monday (the 20th).
What sort of Black Friday streaming deals should you expect?
Last year, one of the key highlights was Hulu dropping prices to $1.99 a month for an entire year on its ad-supported tier. There are enough solid box sets and movies at that price to make it worth a go for less than the price of a coffee each month. You could have also added Disney Plus to this deal for a further $3 a month, which is a pretty sweet combo overall. This could certainly be a combo again, as the Hulu and Disney Plus apps are due to be merged soon for dual subscribers.
This offer ran from a few days before Black Friday and right through to the end of Cyber Monday and was open to new and returning subscribers. Inflation has been big this year, which might impact the price, but you can be sure it’ll be cheaper than the usual fee.
Paramount Plus was knocking 50% off annual subscriptions (with or without the Showtime add-on), Peacock Premium went down to $1 a month for 12 months, and HBO Max (now just ‘Max’) had its ad-supported tier going for just $6 a month for the first three months.
So we’d expect to see something similar from all the above this year. Max will be an interesting one as it now features all the Discovery content, so it might cost more, but at the same time, the buzz around the service has really dropped off of late, and with the various strikes in Hollywood in 2023, there’s not much on their slate for early 2024, so they might have to offer major reductions to get viewers back. That, and stop removing their own damn content.
Live TV services like Sling and Fubo are a bit hit-and-miss with Black Friday deals. Sling regularly offers $20 off your first month throughout the year anyway. Last year, we saw them throw in a few freebies like Fire Sticks or bonus channel add-ons, so we’ll have to wait and see. They typically aren’t as exciting as the standalone streaming service deals, though.
Amazon Prime prices haven’t budged in a long time, even before a Prime Day sale, but one thing we do see around Black Friday is a reduction in the prices of bolt-on channels. So, if you’ve been eyeing up something like Shudder, MGM+, Cinemax, and so on, you’ll probably get a dirt-cheap rate for a few months.
If you’re not currently signed up for the services mentioned on this page and don’t mind waiting for Black Friday, you might as well wait, as they certainly won’t be more expensive than the current deals.
