Tye Sheridan, known for his role in “Ready Player One,” stars opposite Sean Penn in the upcoming thriller “Asphalt City” and has other projects like “The Order” and “The Things They Carried” in the pipeline.
Michael Imperioli, acclaimed for his work in “The Sopranos,” appears in Hulu’s “This Fool” and will feature in Paul Schrader’s “Oh, Canada.”
Norman Reedus, renowned for his role in “The Walking Dead,” will reprise his character in “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” and recently completed filming on “Ballerina.”
Plot
The film, based on a true story from 1964, revolves around a young New York Times journalist (played by Tye Sheridan) who becomes entangled in a disturbing investigation after befriending the wife (Naomi Watts) of a suspected Nazi officer living secretly in Queens.
Production
Produced by Robbie Brenner, Kevin McKeon, and Lee Broda, with Alyssa Hill as the executive producer and screenwriter, “The Housewife” is set to begin production in June. CAA Media Finance will handle domestic rights.
