The Tourism Development Fund is currently supporting projects worth SAR 40 billion, which will be reflected in the impact and the extent of the effectiveness and success of these projects in the future, said Prince Saud Al Saud, the Fund’s Executive Director General.
The Fund aims to enable the private sector in the tourism field to advance tourism projects, to which it provides financial and non-financial products, said the top executive, in an interview with Argaam on the sidelines of the Future of Tourism and Hospitality Conference.
He added that the Fund provides a number of financial and non-financing services and products, in addition to preserving its capital and ensuring the success of these projects.
The Fund began providing non-financial services, represented by training courses, development programs, and pre-financing programs, in addition to qualifying these projects to take the space and care required for their success.
Furthermore, the Fund provides business accelerators, joint work spaces, and general training courses in various fields of tourism, in addition to training camps that create a fertile environment for tourism projects, according to Prince.
The top executive also indicated that partnerships are vital in the private sector, adding that the Fund worked to conclude partnerships with various parties such as the Charisma Group, which includes Nickelodeon, which operates in the entertainment sector for children and families.
