Last week, Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Renuka Mishra said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had instructed the recruitment of 60,244 constable posts in UP Police. Subsequently, the recruitment notification was issued by the board on Saturday, outlining the distribution of posts – 24,102 unreserved, 6,024 reserved for economically weaker sections (EWS), 16,264 for Other Backward Class, 12,650 for Scheduled Castes, and 1,204 for Scheduled Tribe.

Application Period: Candidates can submit applications for UP Police Vacancy 2023 starting from December 27, with the deadline set for January 16, 2024.
Fee Adjustment and Amendment Period: The last date for fee adjustment and amendments in the application is January 18, 2024.

Age Limit for UP Police Constable Recruitment:
Male Candidate: Must be between 18 and 22 years as of July 01, 2023 (born between July 02, 2001, and July 01, 2005).
Female Candidate: Must be between 18 and 25 years as of July 01, 2023 (born between July 02, 1998, and July 01, 2005).
Note: Relaxations in the maximum age limit apply to candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other specified categories, native residents of Uttar Pradesh only.
