Karim Baraka, General Manager of Savola Foods Co., said the raw materials adopted by the group are imported, and the weak currency exchange crisis in 2023 were among the group’s key challenges.
He added that Savola started to overcome these challenges, Al Ekhbariya TV reported.
The group is currently studying foraying into several new markets, to determine the markets and expansions in which it will invest strongly, Baraka noted.
He added that the group has a clear policy for all export markets.
Export is a priority for the group, and it intends to double exports over the next three years, the official said, noting that the main markets for export are East Africa, and some Arab and European countries.
