Internet sensation Wofai Wada still has Cupid’s arrow searing through her heart for now. Nothing moves her. Not even the public rebuttal of her wedding with Taiwo Cole.
Kunle, her ‘father-in-law’, just referred to her as ‘a Wofai Ewa’ whose images and videos of her marriage to Taiwo came to them.
“This serves to notify all acquaintances, family and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island Lagos are not aware of any marriage ceremony,” he wrote. “…neither did we grant permission nor support in this regard.”
A number of things about the marriage could have been hurting the elitist Cole family: one, the couple’s age difference. Wofai, 38, is eight years older than her husband Taiwo.
So what?
Internet warriors argue Taiwo has gone way past his majority; he can choose for himself.
But the Coles feel somewhat about adulterating their bloodline.
“Person(s) parading themselves as new members of the Cole heritage by virtue of this purported event, are not known nor accepted by the family,”Kunle said.
The Instagram celebrity and skitmaker comes from Ugep in Cross Rivers, south-south of Nigeria. So Cross Riverians (people call them Calabar)don’t look like aliens.
Following the public statement, Wofai simply kept uploading her videos and pictures, including the one tagged” Let Love Leads”.
