Xiaomi’s Redmi 13 5G, the successor to the popular Redmi 12, is set to launch in India on July 9.

Xiaomi’s Redmi 13 5G — the successor to the very well-received Redmi 12 — will debut in India on July 9, as confirmed by the Chinese smartphone giant.
Anticipation surrounds the budget-friendly device, with key specifications already unveiled before its launch. The Redmi 13 5G is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, a robust 5,030 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support, and a sleek glass sandwich design fortified with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Xiaomi’s latest budget offering is poised to impress, just like its predecessor, with its performance and design elements, promising an exciting addition to the Indian smartphone market.

With the 13, Xiaomi aims to build on the success of the 12, which has sold more than 3 million units since its debut in India last August.
While the official pricing for the Redmi 13 5G in India is yet to be disclosed by Xiaomi, insights from its predecessor, the Redmi 12 5G, hint at a competitive price range.
The Redmi 12 5G was previously launched in India with pricing starting at ₹11,999 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant, rising to ₹14,999 for the top-tier 6GB RAM/128GB storage model.
Given the similarities in processor specifications between the Redmi 13 5G and its forerunner, industry watchers anticipate a pricing strategy in line with its predecessor or with slight variations. All eyes are on the official pricing reveal on July 9.
