The fans of Yellowstone have all the reasons to cheer. The romance between Beth and Rip could continue beyond the Yellowstone finale season. The production of the grand finale is expected to begin later this year. Both the actors have hinted at a sequel in an interview. They also said that they intend to work on the existing series and finish it before considering any sequel. This has been reported by ‘The Hollywood Reporter’. The spinoff has been titled ‘Yellowstone 2024’.

It has also been reported that script writer Taylor Sheridan seemed against taking forward the existing cast over to the sequel but changed his mind later. It was also revealed that Matthew McConaughey was in talks for the lead role but this wasn’t finalized.
Paramount Network, while announcing an end to the Yellowstone series, also announced the sequel. They said that the sequel would continue exploring the Dutton Family dynasty with new characters and new locations. Some characters from the existing series are expected to be retained.
Grand Finale’s Production
There is also a delay in the production of this grand finale. It was reported last year that the finale will be available by November 2024. However, this has now been delayed and the production itself will begin only in the second half of 2024. The writer had also previously said that there has been no decision on the number of episodes the final season will have but it will have sufficient number of episodes to complete the story in a meaningful manner.
