“Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Shin Jae Rim (Pyo Ye Jin), who, in the face of harsh reality, decides to pursue her dream of becoming a Cinderella, and Moon Cha Min (U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young), a chaebol heir who doesn’t believe in love.
In the upcoming drama, viewers will be able to witness the dynamic of three different couples:
A Twist on Fairy Tale Romance: Shin Jae Rim and Moon Cha Min
Shin Jae Rim is determined to fulfill her destiny by heeding her father’s advice to “marry into wealth.” In her pursuit, she seeks a prince on a white horse. Along comes Moon Cha Min, an eighth-generation chaebol heir who embodies all the essential elements of a Cinderella story prince with his looks, wealth, and skills.
However, as time goes by, Shin Jae Rim’s inner wild side emerges, steering their relationship in a different direction from the usual Cinderella narrative. Rather than waiting for a prince on a white horse, Shin Jae Rim takes matters into her own hands, riding the horse herself to carve out her destiny. Despite Moon Cha Min’s denial of his feelings for Shin Jae Rim, he can’t help but be drawn to her, resulting in a unique fairy tale romance that fulfills the dreams of adults.
A Wish Come True Romance: Shin Jae Rim and Baek Do Hong
Amidst Shin Jae Rim’s pursuit of a wealthy partner, inspired by her father’s advice, she also develops an intriguing relationship with her wish-granting admirer Baek Do Hong (Kim Hyun Jin). Baek Do Hong’s handsome appearance, wealth, his title as the youngest “10 million moviegoer” film director, and his relaxed demeanor captivate Shin Jae Rim.
The enigmatic air surrounding Baek Do Hong is particularly fascinating, sparking curiosity as to whether Shin Jae Rim will be able to achieve her aspirations and change her life after meeting her wish-granting suitor.
Chaebol Romance: Moon Cha Min and Ban Dan Ah
Moon Cha Min, skeptical of both love and arranged marriages, resists the traditional chaebol marriage route despite the instability in his family. Choosing to live independently, he enters an engagement with Ban Dan Ah (Song Ji Woo), a like-minded friend, where they each maintain their own lives. In the chaebol world, even engagements are contractual, so they opt for a calculated and strategic engagement in order to live their lives to the fullest.
The engagement between the two chaebol heirs, who have struck a delicate balance between freedom and tradition, faces a crisis with the arrival of Shin Jae Rim. The modern romance between Moon Cha Min and Ban Dan Ah, situated in a world inaccessible to ordinary folks, provokes curiosity as to how it will unfold.
“Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella” is set to premiere on May 31 through TVING.
