Celebrities often go viral for their six-pack abs, ripped biceps and massive quads, but not all male stars seek to be ultra-ripped.
From Travis Kelce to Jason Momoa, keep reading to see which hot male celebs have totally embraced their “dad bods.”
Jason Momoa was known for his super-ripped “Aquaman” physique for years, so fans noticed when he appeared slightly less jacked ahead of his 40th birthday in 2019.
“That’s alright,” the actor said, adding that the “dad bod” comments didn’t offend him “at all.”
Three years later, Momoa underwent hernia surgery and was unable to exercise.
“Not really doing sit-ups,” he joked on “The Late Late Show” at the time. “Trying to keep that dad bod going for a little bit longer.”

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ 2024 AFC Championship win was almost overshadowed by what happened in the locker room after the game.
The NFL star was seen celebrating without a shirt on in a post-game video, causing people to comment on his “dad bod.”
“Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!? #DadBodSZN,” the quarterback tweeted with crying laughing emojis after the clip went viral. “Like i got kids!!!! @Chiefs @insidetheNFL @NFL.”
Mahomes didn’t let the descriptor go after winning Super Bowl LVIII and joked about “DadBodSZN” again two months later.

Like his good pal Mahomes, Travis Kelce’s body became a topic of conversation after he hit the beach with Taylor Swift in March 2024.
The Chiefs tight end addressed his physique when he compared his weight to that of his retired offensive lineman brother, Jason Kelce, on an episode of their “New Heights” podcast.
“It’s March!” Travis quipped, implying that he’s been more lenient with his diet and exercise routine in the NFL offseason.

Channing Tatum’s performing career began as a stripper, which he later used as inspiration for the hit movie franchise “Magic Mike.”
But don’t expect him to return to the stage in that capacity anytime soon.
“I’ve got a dad bod, man! I’ve got a kid now, this is what it is,” he said when asked about joining the “Magic Mike Live” crew in 2019.
Tatum went on to explain that getting in stripper shape is a “full-time job” and adult entertainers are “like Olympic athletes.”
He added, “It isn’t just working out, it is diet, everything. It is a lifestyle.”

David Harbour became connected to the term “dad bod” in 2018 when Merriam-Webster tweeted a video of him dancing on “Stranger Things” as an example of the phrase.
“I do think that in a certain way, I’ve become a bit of a sex symbol for our time — there are articles about people digging Hopper,” the actor later told CNET Magazine. “But I’m also a little big and a little chubby. I love the idea of real bodies on television. And I love the idea of making real people beautiful and loved.”
Harbour eventually dropped 75 pounds by the time Season 4 of the Netflix hit started filming.
