8 Underrated Feature Verses From 21 Savage

With a knife tattooed on his forehead and a sinister smile, 21 Savage brought something new to the game in sound and style, and despite naysayers, legal woes, and an ever-changing industry, he has continued to come out on top.

21 Savage has evolved from a gritty street rapper to one of the industry’s top choices for feature verses. Born in London, the “Rich Flex” performer moved to the United States with his mother as a child. From there, he was submerged in Southern culture through an East Atlanta upbringing and began his journey to the Billboard charts.

His rap career began to gain traction in 2015 with the release of the Slaughter Tape. From there, the Grammy Award-winning musician has issued two solo studio albums, three collaborative albums, two mixtapes, three EPS, and dozens of singles. From topping the charts with Drake and collecting plaques with Post Malone to going toe-to-toe with J. Cole, and acting on his love of R&B with Summer Walker and Usher, the 2016 XXL freshman class member continues to reach new heights.

Recently, the diamond-selling rapper solved his immigration issues, allowing him to return overseas and perform for the first time in Europe. Officially taking his career global with a scheduled tour, 21 Savage has proven to be a dynamic artist who brings his Slaughter Gang swagger to every track.

While he has standout records on his own and chart-topping collaborations, there are a few 21 Savage verses that sometimes go under the radar. In celebration of his 31st birthday, read below for eight of the “Saint Laurent Don’s” underrated feature verses.
