Aaero2 Is Back in Action
The micro indie game studio Mad Fellows has announced that Aero 2 will be released in September 2024 on Xbox Series X/S. It will be coming out on Steam shortly after. The game will arrive on other platforms as well at a later date. In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer below.
Aaero2 is a ribbon-riding rhythm rail-shooter and a sequel to the critically acclaimed title from 2017. You control a mysterious spacecraft, tracing ribbons of light to release the energy in the music. Along the way, you will encounter strange enemies and giant boss creatures in stunning alien worlds. Take them down using devastating missile barrages and rain heavy cannon fire to the beat of the epic soundtrack.
The game features 2 player co-op and PvP game modes both local/couch and online. Mad Fellows has partnered with record label Monstercat, known for its genre-diverse music, to provide the soundtrack.
