Evergreen actress Trisha had a memorable role in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Aayudha Ezhuthu’ released in 2004. After fifteen years she reunited with the ace filmmaker for ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ playing the role of Kundavai which was so well received by the audience that the actress’s market has risen drastically.
It is reported that Trisha is highly likely to play the female lead opposite Kamal Haasan in ‘KH 233’ directed by Mani Ratnam set to go on floors in 2024. Now the hot news has come in that Trish has been signed by Madras Talkies owned by Mani Ratnam for a brand new film. The director and other details are expected to be out soon.
Trisha on her comeback trail is already playing the much coveted female lead in Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming ‘Leo’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. She will also be romancing Ajith Kumar in the soon to begin ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Great going indeed for the veteran actress who just turned 40 this year.
