In 2020 the singer said “Thank U, Next” to her past relationships and moved on following her high-profile romance with Pete Davidson. (She’d also had a very public relationship with the late rapper Mac Miller, so her desire for privacy makes sense.) According to People, the couple began dating in January, but Ariana Grande wanted to keep their relationship away from the spotlight after ending her engagement with Saturday Night Live star and New York native Pete Davidson in October 2018.
“They have been hanging out for a couple of months,” a source told the outlet at the time. “Ariana doesn’t want to do another public relationship, so she is trying to keep this one quiet, but she seems very happy with Dalton.”
February 2020
The pop star and former dancer are first spotted together in February, with TMZ publishing a pics of them kissing at Bar Louie in Northridge, California.
March 2020
The couple reportedly get closer while spending quarantine together at Grande’s Los Angeles home amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Ariana is staying at home with friends. She is very serious about self-distancing and has been with the same group of people for days,” the source told People. “One of the people she is with right now is Dalton.”
At the time, fans also spot Gomez in Grande’s Instagram Stories.
May 2020
The pair make their first official appearance in Grande’s “Stuck With U” music video with Justin Bieber. At the very end of the clip, the two engage in some sweet PDA while slow-dancing to the romantic ballad.
