Can I Install Spinning Rims?
FromSoftware is coming off its biggest success yet. Elden Ring took the niche of the Soulsborne games and brought it to a more mainstream audience. Armored Core VI is the first game in the series since 2013, so this will be the first exposure for many FromSoftware fans.
In Dark Souls and other Souls-like games, often times players will find a build they like and improve on it over time. Armored Core does not play that way traditionally. Different missions call for different parts and weapons. ACs will constantly need retuning and adjusting throughout the game.
When outfitting your Armored Core, you largely focus on the capabilities of weapons, like fire rate, projectile types, and damage. However, you also consider things like weight and energy consumption. New to the customization element in Armored Core VI is the OS. This allows players to add new functions, like Quick Turn, Boost Kick, and Manual Aiming.

There will also be Armory Stations in some areas. This will let players swap out their AC parts in the middle of a mission. Previous Armored Core games did not allow that. Of course, Armored Core VI will let players give their mech a stylish paint job. Each part can be painted and highlighted in secondary colors.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be coming out on August 25th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
What kind of Armored Core will you build? Let us know in the comments below.
