Ghanaian media personality, MC Yaa Yeboah, has called for the ban of social media app, Tiktok from Ghana.
According to MC Yaa Yeboah, the negatives of Tiktok on the Ghanaian youth has so far outweighed the positives that action must be taken against it.
Yaa Yeboah was speaking on Neat FM when she made the point.
According to her, Tiktok has now become a cesspool where the worst behavior by young people is enabled including extreme s*xual content, maximum disrespect, cursing and insulting others for fun, and much more.
Yaa Yeboah said all these behaviors are to the detriment of the Ghanaian youth.
She also called out the cybercrime unit of the Ghana Police Service for failing to regulate the app and rather going after people who make mild posts online.
