The next stop for the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! anime is the big screen, where the story will be adapted into a pair of compilation films. Now, with the latest update from the official website, we have dates and a new trailer.
The first film is subtitled Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko (Spring Sunshine, Lost Cat) and is set to open in Japan on September 27, 2024. The second, Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta & Film Live (Songs That Become Us & Film Live) will follow on November 8.

Beyond that, sequel series BanG Dream! Ave Mujica will air in Japan starting in January 2025.
The BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! anime TV anime is directed by Koudai Kakimoto at Sanzigen with scripts by Yuniko Ayana, original character designs by Hitowa and Kazuyuki Ueta, animation character designs by Osamu Nobusawa and Mochipuyo and music by Junpei Fujita and Hitoshi Fujima of Elements Garden. It’s available to stream on Crunchyroll, which describes the series like so:

The best way to fit in at a new school? Start a band! Anon has just transferred to Haneoka Girls’ Academy where girl bands are all the rage. But she started school late, so there aren’t many girls left to recruit. Then she meets her first friend and Haneoka’s misfit, Tomori, who’s hesitant to join. Still, Anon is determined to persuade Tomori and experience the true power of friendship and music.
