A GoFundMe fundraiser has been started for Bella Ramirez, one of three young adults seriously injured in a car crash in Pasadena, California.
The mind-boggling crash went viral as video showed the overspeeding Tesla Model 3 flying through the air after hitting a curb, then hitting a utility pole while airborne before finally crashing into a building!!
Aside from Ramirez, two other people who survived the crash with critical injuries are Emerson Newquist, 20, of Pasadena Emily Moheb.
Those who died in the crash were the driver of the Tesla, Samuel Moheb, 22, of Pasadena, Esrom Fessemaye and Stephan Michael Pfeiffer.
Fundraisers have been started for a couple of those involved in the crash.
One of the fundraisers is a GoFundMe for Bella Ramirez, which is aiming to raise at least 50k to handle her medical bills.
Beth Shupper, the mother of Bella’s boyfriend, organized the fundraiser.
She writes: “Please help Bella and her family with the medical bills as she recovers from the horrific car accident that she survived. This will go straight to her medical bills and therapy she will need as she recovers.
“My son, Carter, is Bella’s boyfriend. We care deeply for her and her family. We are in daily contact with them and visiting often. We will be transferring the funds to the family directly so they can be used for Bella’s medical expenses and recovery treatments.
“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone’s support. We are thankful God was watching over her. We ask for your continued prayers as she finishes her senior year and hopes to attend the graduation ceremony,”
According to reports, Samuel Moheb was driving the Tesla in Pasadena with his five other passengers when the crash occurred just before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Moheb was going more than 100mph per hour at the time of the crash while heading west on Foothill Boulevard.

He lost control of the car navigating a bend in the road and hit a curb, launching the car over 130 feet into the air!
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash but preliminary reports indicate it was likely caused by overspeeding rather than a vehicle malfunction.
A toxicology test will be performed by the county medical examiner’s office to determine if drugs or alcohol played a part in the crash.
According to the LATimes, Samuel was charged in September with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.
He appeared in a Pasadena courtroom in March for his arraignment and a plea hearing.
“We are deeply saddened by this weekend’s tragic car accident that claimed precious young lives. We mourn this immense loss and extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of all those affected,” a statement from Maranatha High School in Pasadena said.
Several of the victims were past and current students of the school.
“During this difficult time, we turn to our faith in Christ Jesus for comfort and strength and ask others to join us in praying for all who are suffering due to this tragedy,” the statement continued.
The other fundraiser we mentioned was for Michael Pfeiffer.
“Hi, I am close family friend, and have known Michael since he was five-six years old. I just learned of his passing (he passed early this morning 5/11/2024). I am still in ultimate disbelief and deeply heartbroken; I can’t even imagine what his family is going through,” Margo Ortiz wrote on GoFundMe.
“I am currently asking on behalf of Michael’s family, Michelle (Mother), Bastian (Brother), Stefan (Father), Oma (Grandmother), and Werner (Uncle) to help the cost of Michael’s memorial services. We are all devastated by Michael’s sudden and tragic passing and his family is not prepared for the high cost of a memorial service.
“Funds will be used to help his family during this difficult time, covering funeral expenses and providing support as they navigate through their loss. His family also wants to give Michael the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes,”
