The Fennec 45 is a fast-action submachine gun that allows both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 players the ability to to channel the ninja within. It features a blistering TTK and brings a level of mobility to the party that inferior SMGs can never seem to match.
The gun has lived in the shadow of the MX9, Lachmann Sub, and Vaznev-9K for much of Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2’s life cycle, but in the right hands, it’s as deadly as any weapon in the entire roster no matter which game you’re playing.

The Fennec 45 in Warzone 2 is designed to be a needle in the opposition’s side. If you’re playing with this devilishly fast weapon, then you’ll want to focus on mobility and up-close accuracy for maximum efficiency.
It won’t compete with the aforementioned competition in medium-range fights, but it can tip the scales in up-close fights with the proper loadout. Here’s what we recommend for Warzone 2.

The VLK LZR 7MW and Fennec Rubber Grip will keep you light on your toes, with the FTAC Locktight Stock further bolstering your stats and bringing some additional ADS speed to the party.
Our Warzone 2 Fennec’s natural recoil can be a bit of a doozy in the medium range, but the FSS Sharkfin 90 brings it back down to earth and keeps the handling difficulty from being too much. If you do miss a few shots, the Fennec Mag 45 leaves plenty of room for adjustment, transforming the weapon into a serious threat.
As for Warzone 2 perks, it’s important to remain undetectable, so Double Time will help your operator stay in high gear, while Battle Hardened will prevent the enemies from slowing you down with Tacticals. If you do get trapped, then the combined undetectability of Cold-Blooded and Ghost will allow you to disappear like you were never there at all.
It’s hard to go wrong with any of the Lethals and Tacticals in this class, but we recommend keeping a Smoke Grenade on hand to bail yourself out of any tricky situations. When in doubt, chuck it on the floor and get out of Dodge.

MW2 is a much more confined experience than Warzone 2, so quick kills are the name of the game. Mobility may shine in the battle royale, but it’s more of an afterthought in multiplayer, as a faster TTK is almost always a better option.
This build is similar to the Warzone 2 loadout, but the MW2 perks and attachments are adjusted to account for the smaller environments.

Swapping the Rubber Grip and the Sharkfin barrel for Stippled Grip and Covert Force here gives the gun a whole new feel. It’s not the hipfire machine like the Warzone 2.0 counterpart, but it adds an extreme level of stability that’s missing from the other build.
The other Modern Warfare 2 attachments all accomplish the same purpose, enhancing freedom of movement with the intention of chaining eliminations together in rapid succession.
Double Time and Battle Hardened still work here, but swapping in Fast Hands will save time on reloads and have your operator digging magazines out of their infinite pockets quicker, and Quick Fix will keep them healthy in the midst of those super chaotic firefights.
A Semtex Grenade and a Stun Grenade are the ideal choices to complement this setup, as they can quickly turn the tides in any fight where Quick Fix alone isn’t enough to save your bacon during a Modern Warfare 2 match.
