The reveal of this film occurred on Sunday, October 1, when Queen Bey concluded her last show in Kansas City, Missouri, as part of the Renaissance Tour.
As the performance of “Summer Renaissance” ended, the mega-screens lit up with the trailer for her upcoming film, leaving fans at the concert venue and across social media in awe. One enthusiastic fan exclaimed, “Beyoncé’s really about to sell out stadiums and movie theaters in the same year. A legend.”
Prior to this electrifying reveal, Beyoncé’s team, led by her publicist Yvette Noel Schure, had been teasing the Beyhive with cryptic hints of a surprise from the Queen herself, sending social media into a frenzy. They had initiated an Instagram countdown, tantalizingly labeled “This Is A Reminder,” a nod to the iconic singer’s second track on the Renaissance album, “COZY.”
