BIG Win Big

In the European bracket of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023, BIG kicked off the Semi-Finals with a huge 2:0 victory over ENCE. With ENCE proving to be a tough challenge for anyone at the moment, it’s a big win at the end of CS:GO for the German roster.

Both Krimbo and s1n impressed us most, but there’s just one huge test ahead of them yet…

Cloud9 Comes Together

The star match-up of the BLAST Showdown Semi-Finals came via Cloud9 vs G2. With HObbit IGLing to free up electroNic’s rifling abilities, it was a much more assured performance from the CIS superteam, whose results haven’t quite matched up to the colossal hype so far.

Our star of the show here was easily Ax1Le, who gave us one of the best spray transfers we’ve seen in a long time in the final map vs G2.

Now, just BIG separate Cloud9 from the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023. It’s a great chance for the team to return to winning ways with the dawn of Tier-1 Counter-Strike 2 esports just around the corner.

Liquid Go The Distance

Liquid progressed from the Americas bracket of the BLAST Showdown Semi-Finals, but were made to work for it by Party Astronauts. With coach daps replacing Rainwaker on the active Liquid roster, it was never going to be easy.

Despite hints of roster turmoil over at Liquid, there’s still plenty for fans of the team to get excited about. NAF was in great form, and oSee has looked like a smurf at times during the BLAST Premier Showdown. So, who do they face to see out competitive CS:GO with a bang?

Complexity Crush FURIA

It took all three maps to get the job done, but Complexity eventually found their way past FURIA. It took star showings from EliGE and AWPer hallzerk, but the NA roster found a way. FURIA certainly had chances of their own, so can’t feel too hard done by the eventual result. However, it’s good to see KSCERATO back in good form, and we’re excited to see him pop off in CS2.

Now, Liquid and EliGE meet again on the server, in his first return to face the team he spent eight years with since his move to Complexity. It’s as worthy a final as we could’ve hoped for to see out the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023.
