Capitol Music Group/Motown Records Announce Glass Window Entertainment Partnership with Rylo Rodriguez as Inaugural Signing

Capitol Music Group and Motown Records announce a partnership with Glass Window Entertainment, with Rylo Rodriguez as their inaugural signing.

Capitol Music Group and Motown Records have partnered with Glass Window Entertainment, the label founded by Dominique Jones (pictured center), better known as the artist Lil Baby. Rylo Rodriguez (pictured center right) is the first artist signed to Glass Window Entertainment/Motown Records.

While terms have not been disclosed, sources have said it is a multi-million-dollar deal. Although DJ Akademiks posted a video of the signing over the weekend, the official announcement arrived on Tuesday.

Rodriguez’s new album, “Been One,” recently debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, featuring Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, Est Gee, Fridayy, and many more.

“We are excited to welcome Dominique, Rylo, and the Glass Window Entertainment team to Capitol Music Group/Motown Records,” said Michelle Jubelirer, Chair & CEO of Capitol Music Group (pictured center left). “Glass Window and Virgin Records have done a phenomenal job introducing Rylo. We’re thrilled to support this remarkable artist and upcoming Glass Window releases.”

“I’m overly excited for Rylo, and for his fans and the world to really get to see him on a larger platform! It’s been a long time coming with Rylo, and even longer to go. We got work to do and money to get,” says Dominique Jones. “Thank you to Motown/Capitol Music Group and Universal Music Group for trusting my process, and I’m looking forward to a wonderful partnership!”

“Most of the people that I sign come from my walk of life,” Jones told Billboard in 2021. “I got to feel your vibe because I ain’t on no ‘studio rapper’ shit.”

Jones and Rodriguez have proven themselves a team to be reckoned with in the last few years, with records like “Cost to Be Alive,” “Forget That,” and their recent collaboration, “Real Type.”
