Vijay TV announced the fifth season of the blockbuster show ‘Cooku With Comali’ officially on March 18th. The new season of the famous cooking comedy program became uncertain following the exit of Chef Venkatesh Bhat, the show’s producer and director.
The channel revived ‘Cooku With Comali’ for the fifth season with Chef Damu and Chef Madhampatty Rangaraj as the judges. Today, Vijay TV unveiled a new promo of the show with the official release date. The grand launch of Cooku With Comali Season 5 will premiere on April 27th. It will be aired every Saturday and Sunday at 09.30 PM on Vijay TV.
VJ Rakshan and Manimegalai will be hosting the new season while Pugazh, Ramar, Sunitha and Kuraishi were announced as the comalis. Sources tell us that the show will have around 10 cooks and 10 comalis in total. The channel is yet to announce the contestants of season 5. An official word is expected from the makers soon, before the premiere.
