'DeAr' trailer: Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin joins GV Prakash in this fun rom-com!

Composer turned actor GV Prakash is on a roll with back-to-back films – ‘Rebel’, ‘Kalvan’ and ‘DeAr’. While ‘Kalvan’ debuted with a good response in theatres yesterday, the rom-com ‘DeAr’ is coming to cinemas on April 11. The exciting news is that the Indian cricketing legend, Ravichandran Ashwin, is joining GV Prakash and Aishwarya Rajesh in ‘DeAr’.

Yes, Ravichandran Ashwin has lent his voice as a narrator in the ‘DeAr’ trailer which was unveiled a while ago. The 2.5-minute video opens with Ashwin introducing us to the story’s hero, Arjun, who ties the knot with the heroine, Ritu, in an arranged marriage. Things turn complicated when Ritu’s loud snoring concerns the ligh-sleeper Arjun.

Their marriage grows dysfunctional, questioning their future together. The film is all about thelove, humour and drama in their unlucky marriage. We are presented with a lot of funny, romantic and emotional points in the trailer. ‘DeAr’ is directed by Anand Ravichandran of ‘Sethum Aayiram Ponn’ fame. GV Prakash composed the music with DOP by Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy and editing by Rukesh.
