Veteran actress Meena has paired with most of the top heroes of Tamil cinema during her peak in the nineties that included Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Karthik, Prabhu, Sathyaraj, Vijayakanth, Arjun, Sarathkumar, Prashanth and Ajith. She has also shared screenspace with Vijay in the super hit song “Sarakku Vachiruken” from ‘Shahjahan’.
There is one famous hero with whom Meena has never seen on screen and it is none other than Chiyaan Vikram. Meena recently attended a music album launch event where she shared that she and Vikram collaborated for a music album titled ‘Kadhalism’. Unfortunately it was never released.
The 46 year old ever green actress explained that in those times Tamil independent albums were not as popular as English and Hindi language ones. She added that the makers did not know how to market it and decided to shelve it instead. She however shared her happiness that the current generation is welcoming such work with open arms.
Vikram is currently acting Pa Ranjith’s ‘Thangalaan’ in which he is costarring with Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan. The film produced by Studio Green has music by G. V. Prakash Kumar and is expected to wrap up shooting in a few weeks time.
