Diddy has officially issued an apology following the release of the horrifying assault video. As The Shade Room previously reported, CNN obtained exclusive surveillance footage that shows Sean “Diddy” Combs attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie.

Diddy Issues Apology In Instagram Video
Diddy responded to his actions by sending an apology. The media mogul reacted to the leaked footage through an Instagram video.
“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you gotta do that. I was f****d up. I mean I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, i’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I had to go into therapy, go to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry,” Diddy says in the video.
Details On Diddy And Cassie Assault Video
On Friday, (May 17), CNN released a bombshell video that shows Diddy violently attacking Cassie, formerly known as, Cassandra Ventura. According to the outlet, the March 5, 2016 clip sees the former couple at the “now-closed” InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.
The now viral video, shows Cassie walking down the hallway of the hotel and waiting for an elevator. Seconds later, Diddy comes sprinting after her with a towel wrapped around his waist. Once he reaches her, he grabs the back of her neck and slams her onto the ground. He eventually kicks her multiple times and starts to gather her belongings. Then drags her by her sweatshirt seemingly back to her hotel room.
A separate clip shows Cassie stepping back out into the hallway and attempting to make a phone call. Diddy comes in contact with her again and pushes her into a corner. Lastly, a snippet sees Diddy sitting at a table and eventually throwing an object in Cassie’s direction.
