Doja Cat gives a fan a little advice after an attempt to conjure up rap beef.
On X, the “Say So” performer responded to a comment insinuating that she dissed Cardi B in recent releases. After naming the track “Disrespectful” as one of her favorites from her latest album Scarlet, the California rapper was asked which record was aimed at her Bronx-bred peer.
“None of them get a f**kin life,” clarified the 28-year-old. The interaction was captured and shared by a Cardi B fan account on the social media platform.

The Grammy winner is currently preparing to update Scarlet with a deluxe version, with a new track “Masc” featuring Teezo Touchdown due on Friday (April 5). Back in February, Doja Cat confirmed plans to release Scarlet 2: Claude Frollo, per Variety, named after the character from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
“I feel like it connects to the story of Scarlet in some way,” explained the “Kiss Me More” singer, adding, “and if you look up his personality traits and who he is and his story, you’ll understand the whole connection. There’s a control aspect. He just abuses his power and his control and is dogmatic and a total cu*t.”

The Scarlet 2 artwork teased by the pop star showcases her natural hair texture, a feature she unfortunately had to defend mid-rollout. She has previously deactivated her Instagram account due to negative comments.
“My hair is just 4C hair texture and a lot of y’all don’t give a f**k and that’s good, great […] That’s my hair. That’s fine. It’s okay. [Say] no comment or ‘beautiful.’ That looks great,” shared the “Agora Hills” rhymer.

“I’m seeing a consistent pattern in my comments section of people saying is my hair pubic hair, is it carpet or is it sheep’s wool and it’s not even questions. Some people are being like, ‘That’s what it is’ but like people comparing my hair to sheep and pubes and carpet and popcorn and s**t like that — We gotta move forward. Let’s move forward. Let’s grow. Let’s stop.”
