Dying Light 2 Now Has The Walking Dead DLC Bundle

A few weeks ago, Techland announced that they would be partnering with Skybound Games. This was for a Dying Light 2 x The Walking Dead crossover, which launched last week. Between July 26th and August 8th, there are special in-game challenges to complete. Oh, and there are special crossover items you can get.

Aside from the in-game events, The Walking Dead Bundle is available for purchase. Several crossover bundles over the years have brought The Walking Dead into other games. Of course, they have to include the most recognizable and iconic weapons in the series.

This bundle includes Michonne’s katana, Negan’s knife, and Negan’s iconic bat Lucille. These items also include blueprints for making them again later. The bundle also comes with Rick Grimes’ classic sheriff’s outfit and a specially designed paraglider. While the event only lasts two weeks, the weapon bundle will be available for purchase permanently. It costs $10.49 on whichever platform you play on.

Get ready to swing your bats as the @TheWalkingDead crossover is here! 🧟

We start with Day 1 challenge: kill 50 bandits or renegades using a blunt weapon to unlock the first cover.

In other Techland news, the developer has been acquired by Tencent. Hopefully, this means we will not have to wait 12 years for a follow-up to Dying Light 2.

Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It will be coming to Nintendo Switch sometime this year.
