Empress Of has a new song out today, “Femenine.” She’s also shared a music video for the track, set at a late-night dance party and directed and choreographed by Emmy winner Ryan Heffington. Watch it below.
Godmode co-founder Nick Sylvester produced “Femenine.” According to a press release, it’s the first Spanish-language preview of Empress Of’s next studio album.
Empress Of said in a statement that it “was a dream to work with Ryan.” The Honduran American artist continued, “No one moves like him and no one sees through a camera like him. Legend is an understatement and I loved working in this fever dream fantasy with him.” (Heffington previously worked on Euphoria and directed the music video for Sia’s “Chandelier.”)
In September, Empress Of shared the single “Kiss Me” with Rina Sawayama. She also featured on Jam City’s May album, Jam City Presents EFM. She released her Save Me EP in June 2022.
