Popular actor-director Ameer and acclaimed filmmaker Vetrimaaran have jointly bankrolled the upcoming film, ‘Maayavalai’. This seems to be an intense thriller with Ameer, Sathya and Sanchitha Shetty in the lead roles. The movie’s official teaser was launched by renowned celebrities today.
The 7-second teaser shows glimpses of a mysterious tale with these three characters in the centre – Rajan (Ameer), Sathya (Sathya) and Sara (Sanchitha Shetty). Ameer’s voiceover teases the love among them and how it all went to dust in a day. ‘Maayavalai’ promises to be a mystery thriller which keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
Maayavalai is written and directed by Ramesh Balakrishnan with music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography handled by Ramji and editing by SP Ahamed. The film features Ameer, Sathya, Sanchitha Shetty, Saran, Dheena, Vincent Ashokan and many others. The movie will hit the screens very soon and the makers are yet to reveal the release date.
