Former Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has hailed one Arsenal star after their win against Manchester City.
He said that Mikel Arteta’s decision to introduce Gabriel Martinelli in at half-time, made the difference.
Apart from scoring the only goal of the game, the Brazilian, who is just returning from a long-term injury, lit up the Stadium with his pace down the left side of the pitch.
His effort was rewarded in the 86th minutes when his shot hit Natan Ake and found the back of the net
Speaking after the game, Fabregas, who was once Arsenal captain, said on Premier League Production, “It was a great call in my opinion bringing on Martinelli.
“He was attacking the space and beating players one on one. He made the difference at the end.
“And I think if some had to win this game despite being 50-50, I think it’s Arsenal.”
