Synyster Gates or simply Syn is a multi-instrumentalist and guitar legend best known as the lead guitarist of the heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. This in conjunction with a stainless steel wrap wire used on the wound strings, provides a bright, aggressive sound with added strength and tuning stability for a modern voice that is built to perform.
