In this newly created position,⁤ Coren will guide the UK-based production company’s foray into scripted⁣ programming. ⁤Known for its impactful ⁢documentaries like “The ‌Contestant,” “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” and the Bafta-nominated film⁣ “McQueen,” Misfits now⁣ aims ​to broaden its ⁢storytelling portfolio.

Coren departs Film4‌ after 11 notable years where he progressed⁣ through various roles, ultimately becoming​ head of development in‍ 2019. His production credits feature acclaimed films such as Molly Manning Walker’s “How To ‍Have Sex,”‍ Savannah Leaf’s “Earth Mama,”‍ Mark Jenkin’s ⁤“Enys Men,” Karan Kandhari’s “Sister Midnight,” and Dylan Southern’s “The Thing With Feathers.”

Additionally,⁤ Coren played‍ a​ pivotal role in establishing a‍ fresh documentary series in collaboration with Channel 4 Factual. This initiative⁢ includes forthcoming projects like ⁢”The Shadow Scholars” and “The Secret Of ⁣Me.” His impressive resume also boasts involvement in celebrated titles such ⁤as “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” “The⁢ Banshees Of Inisherin,” and “Calm With Horses.”
