The quirky trio will surely be back as Hulu has greenlit a fourth season of Only Murders in the Building, according to Variety.

The show starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez wrapped up its season 3 finale just a few days back. It is set in an upscale New York City apartment called Arconia, where these three musketeers team up to solve unconventional murders!

Each season finale wraps up one case but opens another, keeping the viewers hooked. Season 3 revealed the truth behind the demise of Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd), but ended with a shocking twist: the killing of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch). How will the trio go about solving this murder in season 4?

The show has also featured stellar guest appearances by some of Hollywood’s finest, such as Meryl Streep in a recurring role and Matthew Broderick in a hilarious cameo.

Only Murders in the Building season 1 starts with three unlikely friends bonding over their obsession with true-crime podcasts. When a fellow resident of their upscale New York apartment building is found dead, they decide to launch their own investigation and document it in a podcast. However, the path is not linear as they uncover several dark secrets of each other that test their bond extensively.

The show’s second season finds the amateur sleuths framed for the killing of Arconia’s ruthless board president, while the third season plunges them into the world of Broadway.

The series is unique because it manages to make every season seem so different from the former despite being in the same setting and featuring the same cast members.

Only Murders in the Building has broken several records as Hulu’s most popular comedy show ever and has consistently ranked among the top ten streaming shows according to Nielsen since its third season debut.

Fans of the show will have to wait a bit longer to find out what happens next to the amateur sleuths, as the fourth season premiere date has not been announced yet. However, they can still enjoy the thrilling conclusion of the third season, which is now available on Hulu.
