The girlfriend of one of the four teenage boys who died after a crash during a camping trip in Wales has shared a heartbreaking tribute.
Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson, and Hugo Morris – all aged between 16 and 18 – are thought to have been traveling in the Harlech and Porthmadog areas of Gwynedd when they were last heard from on Sunday, 19 November.
They were soon reported missing, however, with local police launching a widespread search for their vehicle.
Four bodies were eventually recovered from a silver Ford Fiesta, which appeared to have left the road on the A4085 at Garreg, near Tremadog.
Tributes for the tragic teenagers have begin to flood in after the news broke, including one from the girlfriend of Wilf.
His girlfriend Maddi shared a poignant post on social media this evening, saying she would ‘miss him forever’.
She wrote: “I love you so much baby. I’m going to miss you forever. The sweetest and most loving boy I’ve ever known.
“I hope you know how much I love you gorgeous.”
She then added: “Thank you for all the time you’ve spent with me the most. Thank you for loving me endlessly, I promise I’ll do the same for you.
“My sweet sweet angel, I can’t imagine my world without you. I’m missing you so much already but I am going to enjoy the life the way you would’ve wanted. The way that you made me feel.”
Her mother, Lisa, said she was ‘absolutely heartbroken’ for her daughter and ‘all of the boys family involved’ in a Facebook post, The Mirror reported.
She added: “Wilf was such a lovely kind lad and treated Maddi in a way only a mother could hope her daughter b treated.
“We will all miss u dearly Wilf. thank u 4 bringing so much love and happiness in2 Maddi’s life and I promise to look after her 4 u.”
Superintendent Owain Llewelyn, of North Wales Police, said in a statement: “At present, this appears to have been a tragic accident, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the four young men at this very difficult time.
“This has been an extensive search involving a number of different agencies and volunteers, and this is sadly not the outcome that any of us would have wanted.
“We would ask that the family be afforded the appropriate privacy and respect.”
