He Was Wise – Throwback Video of John Dumelo Refusing to Climb A Boat Without Life Jacket Pops Up After Junior Pope’s Death

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo is trending after a throwback video of him refusing to get on a boat while filming without wearing a life jacket popped up.

Dumelo was on set with several top stars including Lilwin and the late great Bernard Nyarko, among others, when the incident occurred.

The incident sees the actors loaded onto a boat to go on the river to film but Dumelo refused to let the boat travel due to not having a life jacket.

The video has reentered circulation and is trending after the sad death of Nigerian actor, Junior Pope.

Junior Pope drowned whilst returning from a filming location in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.

Prior to the journey, he had posted about the risks actors take to entertain, including crossing rivers with no life jackets on.

In light of his death, Dumelo is being praised for being a wise man.
