Thailand’s open for business again and international artists have been lining up gigs throughout the year. We’ve compiled the coolest upcoming concerts and festivals for your 2023 concert calendar.
Update: It’s been a while since we updated the list. We’ve included concerts happening from this month (August) until the end of this year.
Aug 12: Road To Sonic Bang 2023
Indie music festival Sonic Bang is back, bringing the likes of LANY, Umi, ADOY, Valley and more. The concert takes place at Impact’s Exhibition Hall 5-6. Tickets are THB3,500, THB4,500 at the door.
Aug 12-13: Taeyeon
K-pop singer Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation is bringing her fifth full-scale concert, The Odd of Love, to Impact Arena for two days this weekend. Tickets start at THB2,000.
Aug 13: Bruno Major
After crooning to swooning fans in 2018, English musician Bruno Major is coming to Bangkok for an intimate second show at Voice Space as part of his Tour of Planet Earth. Tickets are THB2,100.
Aug 14: Two Door Cinema Club
Indie rock group Two Door Cinema Club returns to Bitec Bangna’s Bhiraj Hall. Pre-sale tickets are available for THB3,200.
Aug 18: Fiddlehead
Post-hardcore supergroup Fiddlehead will perform at Mr Fox Livehouse as part of their Southeast Asia tour. Pre-sale tickets cost THB1,000.
Aug 19-20: Super Junior-D&E
Two members of K-pop boy band Super Junior, Donghae and Eunhyuk, will perform two shows at Thunderdome in Muang Thong Thani. Tickets start from THB2,900.
Aug 22: Morbid Fest Thailand – Covenant 30th Anniversary
I Am Morbid, featuring former Morbid Angel members David Vincent (bass, vocals) and Pedro “Pete” Sandoval (drums), will host “Morbid Fest” in Thailand to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Morbid Angel’s third album Covenant.
The album will be played in its entirety alongside a special set of early material and select tracks from Terrorizer’s World Downfall Album. Tickets THB2,200.
Aug 25: Dean Lewis
Aussie singer-songwriter Dean Lewis will perform at Lido Connect Hall 3 in late August as part of his headlining The Future Is Bright Tour. Tickets are split into zones: THB2,500 and THB1,500.
Aug. 26: Lauv
American singer-songwriter Lauv is bringing his The Between Albums Tour to Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The concert features special guest Alexander 23.
Sept. 11: Niki
Indonesian R&B sensation Nicole Zenfaya, better known by fans as Niki, is performing her very first solo concert in Bangkok in September at Central Ladprao’s BCC Hall. Tickets available for THB2,600.
Sept. 13: joan
American pop duo joan, consisting of members Alan Benjamin Thomas and Steven Rutherford, are performing at Lido Connect for one night only.
Sept. 14: Post Malone
Global superstar rapper Post Malone is bringing his If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour to Bangkok. The show will take place at Impact Challenger Hall and will give fans his signature exhilarating performance with music from his upcoming album as well as fan-favorites. Tickets start at THB3,800.
Sept. 16: Kodaline
Irish rock band Kodaline is returning to Bangkok as part of their Asia tour. The show will take place Sept.16 at Impact Exhibition Hall 5, marking the second time the group, known for singles such as “All I Want, High Hopes” and “Brother,” will perform in Bangkok. Tickets available from THB1,800.
Sept. 20: Neckdeep
Welsh pop-punk Neck Deep are coming to Bangkok in late September at The Street Ratchada Hall. Pre-sale tickies go for THB2,500.
Sept. 23-24: TWICE
Popular K-pop girl group TWICE will perform two shows in September at Bangkok’s Impact Arena as part of their fifth world tour Ready To Be. Tickets start at THB2,800.
Sept. 26: Testament
American thrash metal gods Testament are performing at The Street Ratchada Hall in support of their 2020 album Titans of Creation. Early bird tickets available for THB2,900.
Oct. 3: Sam Smith
British singer Sam Smith – who is known for hits like “Diamonds,” “Stay With Me,” “Too Good At Goodbyes,” and “I’m Not Here To Make Friends” – will perform at Impact Arena in October as part of his Gloria The Tour.
Oct. 6: Charlie Puth
The 31-year-old heartthrob behind ear worms such as We Don’t Talk Anymore announced that he will bring his Charlie The Live Experience tour to Impact Arena on Oct. 6 as he swings through Asia. Tickets start at THB1,800.
Oct. 21: Rex Orange County
British singer Rex Orange County will bring his unique blend of indie pop and soul to Bangkok in October.
The 25-year-old artist’s BKK gig, part of his newly announced Live in Asia tour, will take place Oct. 21 at Moonstar Studio in north Bangkok’s Wang Thonglang district. Tickets are THB2,200.
Nov. 7: Bring Me The Horizon
Just announced: British metalcore group Bring Me The Horizon will perform in November at Bangkok’s Union Hall. More details TBA.
Nov. 7: Saosin
After having to cancel their Southeast Asia tour due to COVID-19, Saosin has rescheduled the date for their Bangkok show, Nov. 7. Pre-sale tickets to the post-hardcore group’s show go for THB2,800.
Nov. 25-26: Very Festival
Very Festival will take place Nov. 25-26 in the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center’s Ballroom Hall.
For the festival’s first day, British indie pop darlings Prep and K-pop indie duo 92914, and Korean-Canadian R&B songwriter Slchld will play. Indie rock group Bloc Party and Last Dinosaurs along with American singer Charlie Burg will play on day two.
Dec. 2-3: Maho Rasop Festival
British punk rock group Idles and Canadian dream pop darlings Alvvays were among the additional bands announced for this year’s Maho Rasop Festival.
They were among 16 bands announced by the indie rock fest this weekend for its two-day outing later this year in northern metro Bangkok to also be headlined by post-punk group Interpol.
Among the tantalizing deets: American post-rock group Caspian and indie musician Alex G are coming, as well as Montreal-based songwriter Homeshake, British bands Yard Act and Squid, and Melbourne-based psychedelic jazz fusion band Mildlife.
There’s plenty of regional acts too. South Korean collective Balming Tiger and Japanese bands Envy and Otoboke Beaver will perform. Thai bands Soft Pine, Death of Heather, Ford Trio, and The Yers are also on the roster.
The fest will take place Dec. 2-3 at ESC Park in Rangsit. Advance tickets are on sale now for THB4,190.

Feb. 5: Mayhem
Mayhem is coming from Norway to burn churches and play death metal, and they’re all out of churches. Submit to their Thalassic Ritual tour on Feb. 5 at Mr. Fox Live House located in Town in Town. Tickets are THB1,800.
Feb. 20: Wallows
The Los Angeles-based alternative rock trio has announced that its Tell Me That It’s Over World Tour is making a stop in Bangkok as a part of their Asia tour. They’re playing Feb. 20 at Moonstar Studio. Tickets are THB2,200.
Feb. 22: Conan Gray
YouTuber turned singer-songwriter Conan Gray will bring his Superache Tour on Feb. 22 at Impact Exhibition Hall 5. Tickets range from THB1,500 to THB3,500.
Feb. 28: Westlife
The 00’s Irish heartthrobs that are Westlife will bring their The Wild Dreams tour to Bangkok on Feb. 28 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. Tickets range from THB1,500 to THB6,500.
March 2: FKJ
French Kiwi Juice, aka FKJ, will blend electronic, hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul, and R&B in a live performance at CentralwOrld. Tickets THB3,000/3,500 at the door.
March 3: One Republic
Best known for Counting Stars, Secrets, and Apologize, the five-piece outfit One Republic will be playing in Bangkok on March 3 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. Tickets range from THB1,500 to THB5,000.
March 9: Arctic Monkeys
English rock band Arctic Monkeys will perform in Bangkok for the first time. Best known for 505, Do I Wanna Know?, and A Certain Romance, the rockers will play their first Bangkok show on March 9 at BITEC Bang Na. Tickets range from THB4,000 to THB7,000.
March 11: Harry Styles
Former member of British pop boy band One Direction, Harry Styles is coming to Bangkok to perform on March 11 at Rajamangala National Stadium. Expect hits like Sign of the Times, Fine Line, and As It Was. Tickets range from THB1,500 to THB8,500.
March 11: Pelupo Music Festival
A brand new music festival called Pelupo was announced along with some promising headliners including Norwegian indie folk duo Kings of Convenience and French pop rock quartet Phoenix. The festival will spread across two stages on March 11 at the Siam Country Club in Pattaya. Tickets start at THB3,500.
March 14: Simple Plan
Veteran pop-punk band Simple Plan is coming to Bangkok on March 14 at CentralWorld shopping mall as part of their The Harder Than It Looks tour. Tickets start at THB2,700.
March 15: Trivium
The American heavy metal band Trivium is heading to Bangkok to perform on March 15 at GMM Live House inside CentralWorld shopping mall. It marks as the band’s first show in Thailand. Tickets are THB2,500.
March 26: Yogee New Waves
After their 2019 show in Bangkok, the Japanese rock band is coming back to the city to perform on March 26 at Lido Connect. Tickets are THB1,000.
April 4: The 1975
Best known for songs like Robbers, Somebody Else, and Love It If We Made It, The 1975 will visit Bangkok for another live concert. The Manchester quartet will perform on April 4 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. Tickets start at THB2,500 and go up to THB6,500.
April 13-15: Rolling Loud Thailand
Thailand’s edition of Miami’s infamously rowdy hip-hop festival will happen during Songkran. The biggest acts announced so far are Travis Scott, Playboy Carti, and Lil Wayne. The venue is Legend Siam in Pattaya. Tickets start at a staggering THB8,500 for all three days.
May 15: Paul Anka
Before Justin Bieber there was Lonely Boy Paul Anka. The Canadian-American ‘60s heartthrob is making his way to Bangkok for an emotion-draining show on May 15 at the True Icon Hall inside IconSiam shopping mall. Tickets start at THB3,500 and go on sale March 17.
May 26: Matt Maltese
Indie pop musician Matt Maltese will return to Bangkok for a solo concert in May. The concert, organized by Seen Scene Space, will take place May 26 at Lido Connect.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday for THB1,800, via Ticketmelon. The price will go up to THB2,000 on Saturday.
June 6: Damien Rice
Best known for emotionally intense and melancholic folk ballads like The Blower’s Daughter, The Greatest Bastard, and Cannonball, the 49-year-old multi-instrumentalist Damien Rice will bring his amorphous and angelic vocal quality to a Bangkok hall in June.
Rice’s concert will take place June 6 at Union Hall located inside the Union Mall on Lat Phrao Road.
Tickets go on sale March 10 and will range from THB1,900 to THB3,000 online.
