Hoyoverse has just revealed the contents of Honkai Impact 3rd’s latest update which is due to release in a few days. Version 7.0, titled Re: Promise to Luna sees the long-awaited reunion between the captain and Theresa. It all happens under the blood moon, where players will face a challenging and new SD-type enemy. Plus, there’s some information about Honkai Impact’s highly anticipated second part too.
Honkai Impact 3rd’s v7.0 update brings the captain and the vampire Theresa back after a long time. Even after all these years, Theresa remains the same and still has a love for powerful weapons. In terms of gameplay, she’s an S-rank PSY-type Lightning DMG dealer who battles using a cross that can transform into a chainsaw.
Once the chainsaw has been sufficiently charged, it will send Theresa into a frenzy, where she’ll enter into a dual-wielding stance and obliterate everything in her path. The vampire’s ultimate move splits the weapon into two and starts slashing at enemies. The final attack involves Theresa jumping under a blood moon and finishing off the fight.
Last month, the developers revealed the first look at Part 2 of Honkai Impact 3rd, which is set to be a brand new storyline. It takes place on Mars, with Oxia City being the first location players will encounter. It is a vibrant and technologically advanced region where players will step into the shoes of Dreamseeker, a support character.

Players will be part of a team consisting of Senadina, a mysterious redhead, Coralie who may seem reserved on the outside but is quite a chatty person, and Helia, an A-rank Valkyrie of Schicksal. Together, this squad will embark on a brand-new adventure with lots of new mechanics and features.
