Social media users have chimed in with their typically hilarious responses after a demonstrator at the ongoing Hands off our Hotels protest was seen collapsing like a sack of yams.
The Hands off Our Hotel demo occurred in the capital Accra earlier today as a group of concerned citizens pushed back against attempts by the government to sell off some of the most profitable and well known hotels in the country to an MP.
These hotels include the Labadi Beach Hotel, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Ridge Royal Hotel, and others.
This sparked off a demonstration today but during the protest, some protestors started collapsing from hunger.
Netizens reacted with amusement, wondering why they would attend a demo without eating!
