How many Fortnite skins are there in January 2024?
As of January 2024, there are around 1,726 skins that have been released in Fortnite. This number tends to grow every month because new skins are added on a monthly basis. That said, you won’t be able to see all the skins together at any given time.
Furthermore, certain skins are available for a short period of time or during exclusive promotions. Once the promotion ends, these skins can’t be acquired anymore. The prime examples of such skins are the ones that are a part of the Battle Pass or even the ones that are given as rewards through the Fortnite Crew subscription service.

You cannot purchase these skins from the Item Shop at all. The only way to acquire them is by either completing the Battle Pass or by subscribing to the Crew service. Apart from this, there are a few other skins that can only be seen during events.

Many skins are available for a limited time only.
For example, you will be able to purchase the Christmas/Winter Festival skins only when the winter event is active in the game. Apart from that, Epic Games does give away free skins every now and then as well.
